For over 130 years, aqua signal has been dedicated to the development and production of special-purpose luminaires, primarily for marine applications. From the very beginning their most important customers have always come from the shipbuilding and offshore industries. Today, aqua signal is an internationally active supplier of lighting systems and services, and lighting systems for marine applications continue to remain their mainstay activity. In addition, they design, engineer and produce special-purpose luminaries and electronic products that allow people to master extreme situations at sea or on land.
Founded in Bremen, Germany, in 1868, aqua signal today has a total workforce of over 250 employees, and the company's shares are traded on the Bremen Stock Exchange.
