Cabin Denmark we produce lights of unique design and faultless quality. Their lights are used in yachts and boats as well as in cruising vessels, hotels, libraries, restaurants and private homes.In 1977 Mr Povl Frigast was told by a sailing friend that there was not a really nice yacht lamp available. Having just retired after a lifetime as a silversmith and designer Mr Frigast met the challenge and created the Frigast Cabin Lamp.
In August 1977 the first lamps were produced. During the years the Frigast Cabin Lamps found their way into fine yachts all over the world and became famous.
Although imitated a lot of times - the Frigast Cabin Lamp is still an unbeatable champion among yacht lamps
