LUMITEC LIGHTS

Lighthouse Marine Equipment Ltd is the new distributor for Lumitec lighting products in New Zealand.

With its headquarters in Delray Beach, Florida, USA, Lumitec Lighting specialises in high performance LED lighting for indoor and outdoor use, particularly for marine and recreational vehicles (RVs) applications.

Lumitec’s Maxillume LED array floodlights provide the illumination of a 200 to 300-watt halogen light, but at 12-24V DC, so there’s no need to run the generator.

Drawing just 3.7A of current (1.8A @ 24V DC), the lights also run extremely cool.

Lumitec Caprera cockpit floodlights are the perfect replacement for 55W halogens. They are 70% percent smaller and draw 80% less power than a 55W halogen. Sealed inside die-cast aluminium housings (IP 67 compliant), Caprera lamps are salt-spray tested to 3,000 hours. Owners can expect lamp output life in excess of 22,000 hours.

Like other lamps in the range, Caprera cockpit floodlights operate at voltages between 10 and 30 volts DC. Current draw is 900mA @ 12V DC or 450mA @ 24V DC.

Maxillume and Caprera lights are available in brushed stainless steel and painted finishes and in flush or bracket mount configuratons.

Lumitec SeaBlaze3 underwater lights are eight-element LED arrays mounted in heavy-duty brushed stainless steel and glass housings. Offering sector-leading performance at great prices, they come in four output options including dual colour. Current draw is a measly 2.5A @ 12V DC or 0.95A @ 24V DC.

Lighthouse Marine Equipment has a range of Lumitec Maxillume LED floodlights, Caprera cockpit floodlights and SeaBlaze underwater lights in stock now.
