Chris Dent has joined the team at Lighthouse Marine Equipment as Technical Supervisor. He takes responsibility for product support, service and customer/installation liaison for the company’s comprehensive range of premium marine products.
A qualified maintenance and diagnostics engineer with seven years’ experience aboard superyachts, Chris returned to New Zealand in 2009. Since then, he has worked as relief engineer on trans-Atlantic crossings and undertaken general on-call relief and delivery work.
“I’m looking forward to a spell of relatively ‘clean’ landbased employment and less time on the tools,” says Chris, who takes up his new position on Sept 1, 2011. He has settled in Albany where he and his wife are expecting their first child.
Chris will provide invaluable technical expertise for in-field service and warranty work, as well as installation advice and a complete support mechanism for customers nationwide.
